Homebuyer Education Program

This is an eight hour course designed to educate prospective first-time homebuyers to shop for a home, get a mortgage loan, improve their budget and credit profiles and maintain their home and finances after purchase.

Home Buyer Education is an eight hour course designed to educate prospective first-time home buyers. The class aims to provide necessary tools to potential home buyers and to produce better informed consumers. Topics covered include: real estate, title, escrow, mortgages, home inspection, and homeowner’s insurance. This class is approved by HUD, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac, and is taught by experienced housing professionals certified by the NeighborWorks® Center for Homebuyer Education and Counseling. Clients who attend our First Time Homebuyer class will receive a manual titled Realizing the American Dream where they will gain much needed knowledge and information about the home buying process.
